Hermit and Pig looks like a cozy little RPG about mushrooms and exploring the woods… but it didn’t feel cozy the way I expected.
After a few hours with the game, I realized the tension is the point. Between time pressure in combat, awkward social interactions that can actually hurt you, and strange mushroom effects that pull you into dreamlike sequences with no warning, this game constantly keeps you slightly on edge.
