As a retired Hedge Fund quant, I believe the FIRE Movement is a scam. The 4% Rule isn’t worth it for most people. Personal Finance gurus always push misinformation about this topic. Financial Independence can be achieved but requires radical frugality for most, and early retirement isn’t the dream most people would think.
