A video going over why Fallout 76s short lived survival mode failed.
Survival mode was an attempt to make the game more like other popular survival games like Day Z , Miscreated , Rust , and Ark survival evolved.
It didn't last long being added in April of 2019 and removed in October of the same year.


So did it fail? Well it failed because of three main reasons.
The first is because Fallout 76s community largely didn't like pvp and were very friendly to one another.
Pvp in fallout 76 really bad and not many liked participating in it. So why would they play game mode that forced it on them.
Fallout 76 in 2019 was an extremely buggy , laggy and crash happy game this also proved detrimental to survival modes failure.
