His work brings the history and philosophy of science into dialogue with other fields, especially continental and Classical German philosophy. He has used the philosophy of embodied cognitive science to develop new readings of Jakob von Uexküll and Max Stirner and to ask questions about the relationships between art, science, technology, and society. Dr Feiten is currently an Assistant Teaching Professor at Penn State University and did his PhD at the University of Cincinnati.
