Are Mexicans all doomed to keep repeating the same mistakes? I know I have made these mistakes myself in the past but I'm determined to change things.

I saw a shocking news article which said that 61% of Mexicans in my generation are going to be poor in retirement? As I see so many expats moving to Mexico to retire, it seems that many of us Mexicans won't have the option to retire in Mexico.

Obviously wages in Mexico can be very low and for many people, it's simply not possible to save for retirement. However Mexico is home to a huge middle class and I see a lot of cultural attitudes and behaviors which are making retirement seem impossible even for those with money.
