In this video we will be talking about how trains can derail during a ride.
In the news we had the following which I will also go over about how this could happen.

The Big Dipper at Blackpool Pleasure Beach experienced an incident on July 23, 2026, when the historic 103-year-old wooden roller coaster stopped abruptly at a low point on the track. While social media videos and visitor accounts claimed a partial derailment and splintered track wood, park officials stated the ride merely "came to a stop" (or "valleyed") and required a manual evacuation.

Incident Overview
* Date & Time: Thursday, July 23, 2026, at approximately 2:00 PM.
* Location: A low point on the circuit of the Big Dipper at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in England.
* Casualties: Zero injuries reported; all passengers were safely de-boarded by trained operators and checked by first-aid staff. [1, 2, 3]
