This is part 1 / 3 of my conversation with Feross. Here we talk about the deep involvement Feross has with open source. What are the different kinds of projects, and how can we improve the funding model for open source contributors?
In part 2 (coming out soon) we talk about Feross' experience starting a company that got acquired by Yahoo.
Feross is the founder of Wormhole, a way to send files in an end-to-end encrypted way. Feross is the author of several popular open source libraries such as WebTorrent and StandardJS. Previously, Feross worked on PeerCDN, which was acquired by Yahoo in late 2013.
