D.Mon just dropped as Overwatch’s newest tank and… yeah. She’s a lazy fusion of D.Va and Brigitte (though you're supposed to feel like Reinhardt) that somehow managed to take the worst parts of both and leave the fun behind.
In this video I break down every problem with her kit, design, and the way she plays right now. From the awkward melee range and limited mobility to how her abilities feel like they were slapped together without much thought, I go through why she currently sits as one of the weakest and most frustrating tanks in the game.
I also share some concrete ideas on how Blizzard (or what’s left of the team) could actually fix her so she feels unique instead of like a budget Reinhardt wearing a MEKA skin.
And yeah… the fact that this is what we got after all the hype makes it hard not to feel like Microsoft has just given up on Overwatch at this point.
