Commuters in Germany were treated to a surprise when a chicken was seen travelling alongside them on a Berlin train service.

Footage filmed by Emmanuel Adu Amponsah shows the chicken seeming pretty content on its journey. The farm bird can be seen curled up on its seat, and later getting up to quickly stretch its legs.

“Today on the regional train: first-class chicken,” Amponsah wrote in an August 5 TikTok post.
