In July 1969, NASA executed a covert 30-day underwater mission with six men, impacting future space exploration. In September 1999, marine archaeologist Jim Delgado located the submarine in a Vancouver shipyard, noting its extraordinary preservation. He aimed to explore its history and reconnect the aquanauts to reflect on their shared experiences after 35 years.
