The show focuses on the crew at Ekstensive Metal Works in Houston, Texas, as they customize and modify anything on wheels. Before Texas Metal brought the shop to the limelight, Ekstensive Metal Works had gained a local reputation in the car customization scene since it was established by Bill Carlton in 1994.
