In 2008 Epstein was investigated for numerous s*x crimes and the trafficking of minors. Facing federal charges, Alexander Acosta, the lead prosecutor, offered a plea deal that allowed Epstein to only face state charges for pr*stitution. Essentially letting him off the hook. This video gives us a better idea as to why.
