Today's snake video is a bizarre encounter between Smoky Mountain hill billies and a very lost cottonmouth snake. This could have ended badly for all parties involved. Fortunately, the cotton mouth snake decided to flee shortly into the confrontation, and it lived to gape another day.

The original lines are from the great film "Deliverance." It was recited by an actor named 'Cowboy' who was brought in by actor Burt Reynolds to audition for the part. In real life, Cowboy could not read at the time.
