We have a range of undergraduate courses that allow you to add a study abroad option, or you may prefer to take part on an International Short Programme in the summer months. Applications are still open to study with us in September*.
Our International Mobility team can help you organise your study abroad option and there are opportunities for you to study and visit countries all over the world, which have previously included Japan, Australia, France and the USA**.
The International Short Programme offers students to study, work or volunteer for around 4-8 weeks typically starting in June, July or August in a range of different countries which have previously included Fiji, Thailand, Indonesia, USA, Colombia, Chile and more.
Northumbria University has been named Modern University of the Year in the Times Good University Guide 2025.
