Has anyone actually been to a liturgy that looks like what the Vatican II bishops voted for? It would resemble a novus ordo, but with a smattering of Latin, Gregorian chant, and at least some degree of ad orientum from the priest. While traditionalists hold a strong devotion to the Latin Mass, which was the standard form of the liturgy for centuries, modernists have introduced a form of the liturgy that nobody voted for. But why is that acceptable?
