So I generally like Carissa Broadbent as an author, and wanted to pick apart what appealed to me (and so many others). Looking at her epic fantasy romance series, I found a lot that felt borrowed from other popular works and extended to be its longest word count. All it really came together to make her a huge hit on Kindle Unlimited. More respect to her if this was a business plan.
