Why ATLUS Games Need To Drop Turn-Based For ARPG. Why should Modern FF have all the fun? If FF15 and 16 were such smash hits, why shouldn't Persona do that same? :)
Clair Obscur Expedition 33 revived the Turn-Based Combat debate, particularly around Final Fantasy. We discuss this during my first playthrough, reaction & voice acting of Metaphor ReFantazio, the modern Turn-Based JRPG by ATLUS, the same company who made Persona 5. Starring Will, Strohl, Gallica, Louis, Grius, Hulkenberg and more. My main character is an Elda, plunged into the United Kingdom of Euchronia. Other races include Clemar, Roussainte, Ishkia, Nidia, Rhoag, Paripus and Eugief. Also Humans, who are all hideous monsters for some reason. This is my first video game by this company ever, so wish me luck as I come to grips with its gameplay, mechanics, and Calendar System. Enjoy my anime weeb adventure
