Why is learning to draw or learning anything creative so frustrating?
In this video I draw one simple spiral and explain why creative progress almost never happens in a straight line.
Whether you draw, paint, write, compose music, garden or build things, every attempt changes both the work… and you.
The spiral becomes a way of understanding practice, patience and the strange truth that every time you return to the same subject, you’re no longer the same person.
Sometimes the drawing changes.
Sometimes you change more.
