The Matrix franchise has long lied dormant, but now Warner Brothers has made the official announcement that there will be a sequel to the trilogy, written by co-creator Lana Wachowski, who is also returning to direct the new film. It was also announced that original stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss will be returning as well. In this video, me and my panel analyze the announcement, look at who is NOT returning, and hypothesize about the future of the Matrix franchise.
