Let's face it, guitars are EXPENSIVE nowadays and we want to talk about why!
Now it's not all doom and gloom. We are seeing some of the best built instruments we have ever seen but yikes....we still remember the good old days of a brand new Fender (USA made) for under $1000.
We want to dig into some of the factors from the materials, handcrafted aspects, labor costs, inflation, corporate profits, and so many more aspects that have led to the cost of instruments that we now live with.
Now there is hope as we said! Great guitars are being made, great boutique makers are sprouting up to claim their own, and there have never been this many choices for us love lorn guitar players.
If it is a Les Paul, a PRS, a Fender, A Yamaha, a Taylor, a Martin, or one of the hundreds of great makers out there...have a seat, lend us your ears, and enjoy our direction of the economics behind the guitar costs of today!
