Apple’s long-rumored smart home display may finally be getting close — and after years of leaks and delays, we have a surprisingly good idea of what Apple’s new smart home hub could look like.
In this video, I’m rounding up everything we know about Apple’s upcoming smart display, including its rumored 7-inch touchscreen, HomePod-like design, camera and facial recognition, Apple Intelligence and Siri AI support, new homeOS software, iPhone widgets, Live Activities, smart home controls, wall-mounted version, potential pricing, and possible release date.
I’ll also dig into how I think Apple could use this around the home — from the kitchen and office to a bedside display — and why pricing could be critical to Apple’s larger smart-home strategy.
