As I am training more, I have been doing some self assessment on my flights lately and noticed more than ever I am giving way to other planes in the traffic pattern to avoid conflicts. I am not 100% certain if this is the best action but for me it seems to be. should we pilots anticipate giving way to other planes at any point in flight?
Every takeoff should be planned as rejected.
Every Landing should be planned as a Go Around.
Should every pattern entry anticipate a 360 to give way to others?
