I’ve been testing the new DJI Action 6 and the thing I keep coming back to is the square sensor. It doesn’t sound exciting but it is once you realize what you can do with that!
When shooting the full sensor 1:1, I can reframe the same clip for vertical Reels or horizontal YouTube shots without having to reshoot or worry about holding the camera a specific way. It just gives you so much more flexibility vs needing to pick and choose which aspect ratio you want before you shoot.
For creators who bounce between platforms or just want to capture a moment once and figure out the format later… this is the move.
