5v5 was the right call, even though initially I too was on the fence about it. In the end, the devs decided to reduce the matches from 12 to 10 players and focus more on balancing 1 tank per team. However, recent debates have been sparked in the Overwatch community with players lamenting about the loss of the second tank slot. Today, I go over why 5v5 was the correct call in the end, however controversial it may be to the dedicated veterans of OW1.
