đź’ˇ Reflecting on her key takeaway from #WHS2025, Jonta Kamara, Y-ACT (Youth in Action), shared how the #WHS2025 reinforced the importance of cross-sector collaboration in public and global health.

Jonta Kamara emphasized that addressing today’s challenges requires cooperation beyond ministries of health - engaging ministries of agriculture, environment, trade, and foreign affairs to build more resilient and sustainable health systems.
Through the WHS Youth Group Opportunity, Y-ACT (Youth in Action) participated alongside 25 youth groups from across the globe. This #WHS2025 initiative provides complimentary tickets to organizations by and for young people, ensuring that youth voices are involved in shaping the future of global health.
