🌦️ Weather: Think mild, but not warm. Average temperatures range from 3°C to 10°C (37–50°F). Expect a true mix of Icelandic spring: sunshine, rain, and wind—all in one day.

🧥 Packing tips: Layers are everything. Go for practical pieces like fleece and wool to stay warm.Bring a waterproof and windproof outer layer, plus warm accessories.Sturdy boots are a must—spring can get muddy.Don’t forget a bathing suit for hot springs, and pack sunglasses and sunscreen too.

🚗 Activities:May is perfect for a road trip around Iceland.You can also:Go puffin spotting or whale watching, try glacier hiking or a glacier lagoon boat tour, snorkel in the Silfra fissure between two tectonic plates, ride Icelandic horses or go on a buggy adventure. Relax in a hot spring, lagoon, or local pool (a must!)
