All the talk, all the speculation and anticipation is about to come to a head. One final DLC character remains until Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's roster closes its doors. With opinions split on what--or who--to expect, an air of tension is building within the community leading up to the next Nintendo Direct...or if necessary, an event past it. Who's next (and therefore last)?
But just what might we see when time comes for the final reveal? Let's analyze the situation as it currently is, go over ways I think others are drawing the wrong conclusions, and go into detail on three options for Fighter #11 that I think are worth taking seriously. What gives them a leg up on their competition, how could they stand out within Ultimate's Dynamax-sized roster, and what content might accompany them? Let's take a deep dive one last time.
