Suggested by Patreon Subscriber Craig, this key Seventies Vietnam picture from director Karel Reisz is another that was on my very long “reviews to do” list. Craig sort of bumped it. I much prefer it to the tentpole Nam flick releases of the seventies in part because it has much of relevance to say and a more concise and less bombastic way of saying it. It wasn’t a big hit, didn’t get any accolades and was quickly dismissed and forgotten. But not by me – or Craig, apparently.
