The Lord Predator from AVP 2010 for Xbox 360 PS3 and PC is an ancient, legendary Predator of the Elite clan, who’s existence dates back millennia.
He is the descendent of the playable Yautja of the Predator campaign, Dark Predator.
Lord is first learned about from a holographic recording, being the first Predator to ever slay a Xenomorph, on the planet BG-386.
Here, he is seen proving his strength and dominance over his vanquished prey, as well as his leadership over his clan-members, by carrying the fallen Alien up some steps inside a Yautja Pyramid, before throwing it down to the floor in triumph.
Lord is laid to rest inside a sarcophagus on the same planet, with his specialised Biomask displayed in another pyramid.
His descendent, Dark, finds the ancient burial site, and takes the mask, which is now rightfully his, and dons it; giving himself Alien detection vision, a new vision mode with a green hue which detects Xenomorphs from the ambient environment.
In appearance, Lord looks much like the other Predators from the game, with the same armour, but a special mask; with a golden colour, unique shape, and the jaw area looks like a Predators open mandibles.
Dark takes Lord’s biomask, and uses it to help him in his journey, setting the self-destruct, and finding and killing the Abomination, a PredAlien who he fights, and defeats.
Dark mirrors his ancient’s victory over the first Xenomorph kill, by carrying the dead Predalien up to the top of the pyramid, and throwing it down. Before being greeted by his fellow Elite Clan Members, and leaving for Xenomorph Prime.
