It's interesting to watch Regis in these early episodes… you can definitely see Tarrant's influence in the way he drags it out after a contestant gives an answer on a tough question.
Eventually he stopped doing that, he's said he doesn't like putting contestants through that & instead relies on snarky, humorous banter (which would definitely work for him), but he was definitely a different kind of host in the early days of the show. Anyway, here's episode 3!
