today's sidequest takes us to the heart of the civil rights movement.
📍 Atlanta, GA | Dobbs Anniversary Press Conference | June 21, 2025
Two years after the fall of Roe v. Wade, a coalition of organizers, artists, doctors, and advocates gathered at 494 Edgewood Ave in Atlanta’s historic Sweet Auburn District.
My goal was to capture and amplify the powerful voices, artwork, and community resistance that emerged at the press conference marking the Dobbs anniversary.
Through mural unveilings, personal testimony, and calls to action, speakers revealed the devastating impact of Georgia’s abortion ban and Medicaid cuts and the urgent need for resistance.
⚠️ As of now, the budget bill has passed, slashing Medicaid and escalating the reproductive care crisis in Georgia. But the fight is far from over.
