In this often heart-breaking episode of Burbex - Brin's Urban Exploration, Brin meets people who still live in an area where houses are being demolished to make way for highrise apartment blocks. Some of the houses are a century old, and some of the residents have lived there all their lives.
In Brin's interviews he finds out that the residents have little choice, and are hanging on for dear life in their homes which are now disconnnected from the world.

In this PoV episode of Burbex, Brin and Senzuri sneak into an abandoned gas works in the suburbs of Shanghai, China. After dodging and spying on some of the workers at the plant, the duo creep through the plant, which has been left abandoned in some places for around twenty years. Brin even makes it to the roof where he spotted a pair of nesting peregrine falcons, which were on the verge of extinction in Shanghai until recently, and in the water intake ponds, they find some beautiful coy carp.

In this truly epic episode of Burbex, Brin and Robin visit what would have been the largest Amusement Park in all of Asia. Coming in at a total of $900,000,000, Sino Wonderland was abandoned just weeks before opening after massive corruption charges were filed against the mayor of the city and the company Sino Wonderland which was building the park.
In this huge exploration, the duo finds a 152-metre Ferris Wheel, which Brin tries to climb, an epic roller coaster, and so many rides that many call this place Chinas Lost Disney World.
