One in three teenagers has experienced some kind of abuse in their romantic relationships, including verbal and emotional. In New York City, teen survivors of dating abuse are 3x more likely to miss school due to not feeling safe and 2x more likely to be bullied.
Day One is working to change that. Every year we see more youth becoming advocates for healthy relationships. We see new leaders forming a generation that will end dating violence. Together, we are fighting for a future where love is safe and, as always, young people are showing us the way.
