I’ve been in the crochet world for a while, but I realized that not everyone knows who I am or what the ACA is all about. So, let’s change that!
I picked up my first crochet hook when I was five years old, and I’ve been obsessed ever since. My crochet obsession started with making hats and blankets for my kids, then giving crochet lessons to friends, then writing and selling patterns online. Now? I’ve published nearly 500 crochet patterns, authored 15 crochet books (and counting!), and created all the courses and workshops at the ACA since launching in 2015.
Why am I telling you all this? Because I’ve spent years figuring out not just how to crochet, but how to do it really well. Along the way, I started sharing tips to help others crochet better, and before I knew it, I had enough knowledge to build entire courses and workshops—not just to help people learn the basics, but to actually turn their hobby into a profession. Whether you want to teach crochet, sell finished projects, or write your own patterns, I’ve got resources to help you do just that.
My goal is to create easy-to-follow resources so that crochet will continue to be passed through the generations in better hands than we found it.
