This is an interview I gave to Kianistan with Tafhim Kiani in the UK yesterday. We discussed in some detailed the domestic politics in the US, Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Poland, and EU in regard to their position in the ongoing drama of peace negotiations. Why are so many against any agreement with Russia? Will they gain or loose as a result of their choices? What is driving the process: domestic politics or foreign policy goals?
Dr. Brovkin is an American historian of Russia, now retired, a former Professor of Soviet History at Harvard University, he is the author of numerous books on Russian History and politics.
