who am I now?
I’ve been reading old journals
to see who i’ve been
there’s so much space
between there and here
even a year ago, even a month
i don’t know what it means when i’m in it
i need space to understand
space for looking after myself
space between who i am and who i am on the internet
space to walk for miles
when nothing make sense but to move
who am i now
i write
i try my best
i walk around
i have little tolerance for certainty
& the limits of my imagination
but i’m more comfortable now
not knowing what it means when i’m in it
leaving some space
to become different than who i was
to be more than what i seem
