In this video we're comparing Johnny Cougar (John Mellencamp) and Pat Benatar, and their renditions of I Need A Lover. We really enjoyed these two artists in our teen years, but we didn't know about this song until we checked out Johnny Cougar's version during the Countdown festivities some time ago. At that time, we learned that Pat Benatar had covered it, so when we got a request for hers, we just had to add it to our list. We're excited to hear the differences.
