I have decided to take you all on this adventure as I explore the White River Formation in Northwest Nebraska! This place has become one of my favorite places to visit and I am super excited to show you all around! So come with me on this adventure!
On day 6 the ground was still to wet to head out to hunt so instead we decided to check out the Agate Springs Fossil Bed National Monument! Just 35 miles away from where we hunt in the White River Formation there was a treasure-trove of fossils from animals that existed 8 million years later.
What is super fascinating about these creatures is that many of them appear to be the direct descendants of the Oligocene animals we have been hunting for!
