In this clip from episode 988, it's another round of Danish whisky and a spellbinding lesson on Denmark's historic land. Torben Thornæs Andersen, a passionate whisky enthusiast, wished to make his own 12-year-old whisky before turning 60. Andersen chose North Zealand due to its farms, barley, and quality water. The Thornæs distillery was born out of a repaired horse stable and began production in 2019, without automation. Richard Campbell eventually pours a glass from the award-winning Kagerup bottle, a drink with strong sherry overtones and lots of heat.
