I think the beauty of the surface crochet technique that Cheryl used to transform her Wandering Vine cardi is that it’s only fully finished when you want it to be. You can keep going and adding more and changing it up as long as you want to. There’s no right or wrong way to do it. You fully get to do your own thing and make something completely unique to you—the best!
