Hi Rich, I am a 73 year old man who wants to learn the Ukelele so that I can play with my brother. What size would you recommend for an absolute beginner with no experience at all. I have seen on YouTube that a concert size is the one to buy, but it still seems small to me and I was thinking of a tenor, what would you think is the best for a complete musical beginner. Love your videos, such a change to see completely honest reviews.

Most likely tenor will be your all around best bet. It gives more space on the fretboard and is generally a more comfortable size for most men. I usually recommend tenor for men and concert for women and kids. Baritone is a wild card that provides the largest fretboard area to work with. With use of capo you can use regular ukulele chords and music. I really don't recommend soprano for anyone but astronauts and bus drivers who want to keep a ukulele under the seat.
