In today’s brief episode of Retro Renew, we take a look at which Gameboy DMG IPS kit gets more battery life. Both the RIPS V3 and FunnyPlaying IPS kits are fantastic but how do they impact battery life? Which one is better? The answer may not be as clear as we think as both of these kits have some distinct differences.
I would like to have done more tests, but these kits last very long and I ran out of time unfortunately. I will try and do a follow up with a battery test at the lowest brightness setting so we can get a range of time we can expect these kits to last. Enjoy the video!
