After 3 years… We’re back in New Orleans celebrating Chris’s birthday! Doing what we do best… eating our hearts out :D
We’re going to return home a few pounds heavier, no doubt.
Below is a list of the places where we ate:
Acme : For the best oysters! You’ve got to try their chargrilled oysters!!! (If you don’t mind the wait… just make sure you go earlier for shorter lines)
Coterie : Really good oysters as well, and probably the best seafood gumbo we’ve had.
Evangeline : Best service and best food (other than oysters :P) Fish tacos, crab tater tots, and crawfish & grits were out of this world!!! If you are in the French Quarter, you have to stop by and ask for Neal! Mention Fins & Passports (show them a screenshot of the video) and get 10% off!
Johnny’s Po Boys : Best Po Boys, of course :) Their shrimp PoBoy is the way to goooo. Not a fan of their seafood gumbo though.
The Gumbo Shop : Usually has a really long line… but honestly, not worth the wait for us. Had better gumbo and shrimp etouffee at Coterie or at Pat’OBrien’s.

After getting married, we realized that owning a big house and working at a big company wasn't our definition of success and it certainly wasn’t making us happy.
We realized that we are our happiest when we’re traveling and learning about different cultures, so we decided to follow that passion and go on an adventure around the world. We still have a lot to learn about life and happiness, but we want to share our journey and experiences with you, and hope to inspire you to follow your passion.
