The backrooms is a very popular phenomena which originated from a 4 chan thread. Over the years these liminal space photos became very popular which lead people to associate the image with the backrooms creepy pasta. The photo was hidden inside 4Chan all along hidden in plain site. Years later Kane Pixels made an internet web series of the same name that popularized the creepypasta. Now the backrooms is getting its own A24 Movie which is directed by 20 year old Kan Parson, Better known as Kane Pixel.
