Panic attacks that come out nowhere? Most likely not.
Deaf people and those with intersectional identities experience systemic oppression, including audism, that increases the risk of panic attacks.
A combination of factors usually triggers panic attacks. Stress, trauma, caffeine and sugar overload, medical issues, substance use or withdrawal, sleep deprivation, and anxiety can all induce panic attacks.
Taking care of yourself basic needs, managing your stress, and seeking professional help when needed are all ways to reduce the chances of panic attacks. #panicattack #panicattacks
