In honour of Black History Month, Where Is Your Humanity is a spoken-word reflection on global inequality, exploitation, and the enduring legacy of systems built on the labor, land, and lives of Black people across Africa and the diaspora.
From cocoa farms in Ghana to cobalt mines in the Congo, from overflowing grain silos to empty bowls, this piece confronts the lie of scarcity and exposes the truth of capture—where abundance exists, but justice does not. It challenges unchecked greed, corporate plunder, and policies that protect profit over people, while uplifting ancestral African wisdom rooted in balance, community, and shared humanity.
This is a Black History Month message about more than the past.
It is about the present we are living in—and the future we are shaping.
