For any inline skater or rollerblader out there I am guessing that most of you would choose to roll smooth tarmac. Skating along on a beautiful smooth surface is just immensely satisfying after all.
As much as I love a super smooth surface, to be honest if that’s all I had things would actually become a little boring. For me I do also like to challenge myself with my skating and so I also enjoy finding bumpy and uneven surfaces to roll.
In this video I am skating around a modern housing estate. It’s fast becoming my absolute favourite place to skate especially when I am just looking for an easy chilled roll. There is an absolute abundance of pathways here. They are all interlocking and sprawl all over the place which makes my skate sessions really interesting as I am very rarely just skating in a dead straight line.
