I took some artistic license here which I hope was not excessive. Here are some disclaimers:
This is really only valid at the equinoxes, when the terminator line passes through the poles. The actual locations of sunrises and sunsets are a bit scattered due to differences in elevation. I don't actually know if traffic jams would ever be visible from space or even the upper atmosphere. I do know that the earth is actually an oblate spheroid and not a perfect sphere. Doesn't roll off the tongue quite as well.
