On September 24th, 2021, 33-year-old Ashley Lynn Carlson disappeared from Pine County, Minnesota. That day, her rental vehicle was found in a lake, with all of her belongings still inside. Ashley, however, was nowhere to be found.
According to rumors, Ashley was last seen with Shaun Belisle, a Wisconsin man that she had dated on and off. Shaun, who lives within the St. Croix Chippewa Tribal boundaries, has a lengthy history and was previously wanted by the St. Croix Tribal Police. He was arrested on October 1st, 2021. It’s unclear whether his arrest had anything to do with Ashley’s disappearance.
