Miniatures for Games Workshop's games like Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40,000 have long been produced by Citadel, the company founded by Bryan Ansell, Ian Livingstone, and Steve Jackson, and they have always been sold beneath the logo of the Citadel itself! But where did that logo come from?

Inspired by a mad fairytale king that really existed, drawn by an important member of the early Games Workshop company, and refined by some of the best artists in the business the Citadel has been a constant bulwark defending the image and prestige of Citadel Miniatures!
